2024年人工智能与机器学习研究国际学术会议（CAIMLR 2024）圆满落幕！

From September 28 to 29, 2024, the 2024 International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Research (CAIMLR 2024) was held in Singapore. The conference is sponsored by Nanyang Technological University and Southwest Jiaotong University, with support from the Singapore University of Technology and Design and the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology.

2024年9月28日至29日，2024年人工智能与机器学习研究国际学术会议（CAIMLR 2024）在新加坡召开。本次会议由新加坡南洋理工大学和西南交通大学赞助，并得到了新加坡科技设计大学和上海理工大学的支持。

The conference, which adopted a hybrid format of online and offline participation, successfully attracted the enthusiastic involvement of over 80 experts and scholars from around the world. The event was rich in content, encompassing various modes of communication such as keynote speeches, invited speech, and oral presentations, providing attendees with a valuable platform for sharing knowledge and learning from each other's experiences.It was an honor for the conference to invite Professor Zhiwen Yu (Professor and Associate Dean of the School of Computer Science, South China University of Technology, and a recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars), Professor Yuguang Mu (Professor at Nanyang Technological University), Professor Chee Wei Tan (Professor at Nanyang Technological University), and Professor Chuan Qin (Professor at the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology) to deliver keynote speeches. The presentations by these four distinguished experts were both profound and cutting-edge, enriching the conference with high-quality academic content. Through their speeches, participants were able to learn about the latest international research trends and development directions. The atmosphere for on-site exchanges was very lively and engaging.

会议采取了线上和线下相结合的形式，成功地吸引了来自世界各地超过80位专家和学者的热情参与。活动内容丰富，涵盖了主题演讲、特邀演讲和口头报告等多种交流方式，为与会者提供了一个宝贵的平台，使他们能够分享知识并从彼此的经验中学习。会议非常荣幸地邀请到了余志文教授（华南理工大学计算机科学与技术学院教授及副院长，国家杰出青年科学基金获得者）、慕宇光教授（新加坡南洋理工大学教授）、陈志为教授（新加坡南洋理工大学教授）以及秦川教授（上海理工大学教授）来发表主题演讲。这四位杰出专家的演讲既深刻又前沿，为会议增添了高质量的学术内容。通过他们的演讲，与会者得以了解最新的国际研究趋势和发展动向，现场交流的气氛非常活跃和引人入胜。

The conference has established three parallel sessions： “Image Processing,” “Artificial Intelligence,” and “Machine Learning.” These sub-venues encompass cutting-edge scientific and technological fields such as optics, biological sciences, and deep learning, as well as the latest advancements in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Distinguished scholars from around the globe gather to share their extensive experiences and unique insights on the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies in industries such as healthcare, finance, transportation, and education.

To recognize scholars who have demonstrated exceptional performance at the conference, the organizing committee has specially awarded the “Excellent Paper Award” and the “Best Presentation.” The  not only receive certificates of honor at the conference but also gain high recognition from their peers. These awards aim to encourage scholars to continue striving for excellence in their future research endeavors, contributing significantly to the innovation and development of related fields.

本次会议设立了三个专业分会场，分别是“图像处理”、“人工智能”和“机器学习”。这些分会场覆盖了光学、生物科学、深度学习等前沿科技领域，以及人工智能和机器学习的最新进展。来自世界各地的杰出学者们齐聚一堂，分享他们在医疗、金融、交通和教育等行业中应用人工智能和机器学习技术的丰富经验和独到见解。
